Hybrid Search
Natural Language Processing· Intermediate
Definition
A retrieval approach that combines dense vector search (semantic similarity) with sparse keyword search (BM25/TF-IDF), merging results from both methods. Outperforms either approach alone — capturing exact keyword matches as well as conceptually related results.
